We have honestly been so unlucky lately—it just seems to be one thing after another.

Today, at the end of the day, our hood motor unexpectedly blew. This was one of the very few things we didn’t replace when we purchased the restaurant. We were told at the time that it was in great condition and running perfectly, so this was certainly the last thing we expected.

We are truly lost for words. This is what we do every day, and after already having to close for a day during each of the last two weeks, we now have to close again tomorrow while the motor is replaced.

We had our repairman onsite today, and he is actively searching for a replacement motor as we speak. We are doing everything we can to get this resolved as quickly as possible.

Unfortunately, Mimosas will be CLOSED tomorrow, August 13th.

We have been told that everything should hopefully be repaired and back up and running by tomorrow, and we cannot wait to get back to doing what we love—serving all of you.

To Our Amazing Community,

We just want to take a moment to say thank you.

Since the day we opened our doors, the support, kindness, and love you have shown our family has meant more to us than we could ever put into words.

Owning and operating a restaurant is not easy. There are long days, early mornings, late nights, and plenty of challenges along the way. But we have learned that with the right people by your side, anything is possible.

And for us, the right people have been our family, our team, and most importantly, you — our community.

Every meal you order, every kind word you share, every friend you bring through our doors, and every time you choose to support our small family business reminds us why we started in the first place.

One thing we can promise is that you will always have the same three brothers and Dad behind the kitchen, cooking your meals with the same love, pride, and passion that we had when we first opened our doors.

We are incredibly grateful that you have allowed us to become a small part of your lives. We hope to continue serving you, your families, and future generations for many, many years to come.

We sincerely apologize, but we will not be able to open for service today.

When we arrived at 5:00 a.m. to begin prep, neither of our grills would turn on. We tried relighting the pilot lights, checked the gas connections, and did everything we could to get them running, but unfortunately nothing worked.

We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience. The technicians who service our grills are based in Orlando and don’t open until 8 am, so we are currently waiting to schedule an emergency visit and make the necessary repairs.
