If we could show The Sweet Heartist our most heartfelt love and support, I know it would mean everything to them!
Owning and operating a small business takes everything you have, it consumes every breath you take! Right now, they are in the midst of a critical situation, and could use all the love, prayers and support we can offer!
If you have never had the pleasure of devouring one of their cookies/desserts/cinnamon rolls, pleeeease do yourself the favor of stopping by to grab some, or to purchase a gift card!
Please take this moment and read her story below. And let's Share, Pray, and Support howver we can β₯οΈ
Thank you so much!
Sweeties, being transparent to the public is often uncomfortable, but necessary. I want to give you a little life update. The vision loss Iβve been experiencing in my eye the last few months is rapidly worsening and I need retina surgery sooner than later before I lose vision completely. Sadly, two months ago my hubby was laid off from his job, which means we also lost our medical coverage. Surgery is now scheduled for this Tuesday and comes with a hefty self-pay price tag. All of this has brought on stress we werenβt expecting β emotionally or financially.
Running a small business during all this hasnβt been easy when you add equipment breakdowns, staffing issues, ingredients costs and more, but weβre still here, doing what we love and leaning on each other, our dedicated team, and our loyal customers.
If youβve ever enjoyed our cookies, would you consider purchasing an e-gift card online, stopping in for a treat or a gift, placing an order, or simply sharing our page with a friend? β it truly helps us. Your support means more than ever right now! (Link to gift cards: https://squareup.com/gift/MLBKSQ74XCVZV/order)
Our staff is currently rallying to hold things down while I am out. There is a chance we will have to temporarily modify our operating hours as well. Please be patient with them over the next few weeks and extend a little extra grace when needed. We are in the peak of graduation season, fully booked with special orders to fulfill, and short-staffed. I assure you, they are always doing their best. I will have visual and physical limitations for a few weeks afterward so we have also decided to close the calendar to special order requests through the end of June.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for loving on our small business and helping us get through this rough season by shopping, sending encouraging words, and prayers! It going to be tough, but with the support of our team and our community we will keep smiling.
With gratitude,
The Morales Family
