TUESDAY IS DOING A LOT. 😂🍂🧙‍♂️🍫

September 22nd is officially:

So naturally, we asked ourselves:

“What do these things have in common?”

Absolutely nothing.

So we figured we’d just make a few batches of our really yummy, soft pumpkin cookies and call it good. 😂🎃

But really... if you’re going to celebrate Hobbit Day properly, you should probably stop and at least gather some provisions for:

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, grabbed some goodies, talked like pirates, and braved our free samples! We had such a fun Saturday. ❤️

And speaking of those toaster pastries...

We’re planning to make these a regular item very soon! We’re just fine-tuning that very delicate balance between filling and crust. It turns out there is a very fine line between “nearly perfect amount of filling” and “one molecule too much and the filling makes a break for it.” 😂

We’re getting there! Feel free to share your flavor requests. 🥰

Things are happening.

There are apples involved.

There are most definitely donuts involved.

There are apparently pirates involved.

And somehow Christmas is already involved. 😂

Let's start with the apples.

🍎🍩 APPLE FILLED DONUTS 🍎🍩

We made a homemade apple filling with real apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and warm apple pie flavors, and then decided to put it inside a powdered cinnamon covered donut.

The filling is soft and warm and full of apple flavor, with just the right balance of little pieces of real apple throughout and cinnamon and velvety sweetness.

We're pretty happy with this one. 🍎🍩❤️

🏴‍☠️ And then there's Talk Like a Pirate Day.

This shows up and the calendar every year, so obviously we had to do something with it.

This year, we're using it as an excuse to let you help us test something new.

We're making a toaster pastry style bakery creation, and if you "talk like a pirate" when you come in Saturday, we'll give you a FREE SAMPLE of our test batch!
