There are moments in business that remind you why you do it....and maybe I'm just a 300lb kid, because I love dinosaurs too!!!

I am so proud of everything the Lovelton Hotel has grown into over the last two years. From weekly pizza donations to after-school programs, scholarships, community events, and countless other ways we've tried to give back, this little hotel has become so much more than a business.

But if I'm being honest, sponsoring school book fairs has been one of the most rewarding things we've ever done.

This year alone, we were able to sponsor five different book fairs and help nearly 250 children receive books they otherwise may not have been able to take home. The photo below is from our most recent sponsorship in my hometown of Tunkhannock. Before that, we had the privilege of helping students at my alma mater, Lackawanna Trail.

When I bought the Lovelton Hotel, I knew I was buying something I would love. What I didn't realize was that the greatest joy would come from watching it create opportunities to give back to the incredible communities that support us.

Knowing that 48 students at this most recent fair were able to leave with books because of our sponsorship is a feeling that's hard to put into words. Books inspire imagination, learning, confidence, and dreams. If we can play even a small role in helping a child discover a love of reading, then every dollar is worth it.

Thank you to everyone who supports the Lovelton Hotel. Every meal you buy, every drink you order, every event you attend helps make things like this possible.

Together, we're making a difference, one child and one book at a time!!!
