I paid close attention when I didn't get the invite. Cool. I paid close attention when I didn't get a thank you too. I paid close attention when I didn't get the apology. I paid close attention when a room would go silent when I entered. I paid close attention when folks believed stories about me and never asked me.I paid close attention when they didn't show up for me. I paid close attention to when my important life events didn't even get a congratulatory phone call or text. I paid close attention to it ALL. I took it all personal. Thank you. So now I rarely leave my bubble & I choose my peace every single time. I raised the bar for who has the pleasure to be around me. Done battling spirits that were created to distract me from the bigger picture.
