After months of dreaming, testing, and tasting a whole lot of ice cream, our very first batch is finally here.

To kick things off, we're opening a one-day-only presale for pickup this Thursday & Friday.

Our first run is intentionally small—just 25 cans of each flavor.

For years, Lou has talked about opening an ice cream stand. If you know Lou, you know he's never short on ideas—but this one has always been different. Ice cream has always been his happy place.

This summer, that dream is finally becoming a reality.

Introducing Yo, Mose!—our new family-run ice cream pop-up, right here at Wayside Market.

We're kicking things off with five small-batch, handcrafted flavors, created by our family (and taste-tested more times than we can count 🤍), with more seasonal flavors to come.

But this is about more than ice cream.

We're creating a place to gather. A place for families after dinner, kids with sticky hands, friends catching up, and making summer memories together.

First day available to dig in? THURSDAY July 2nd

This is my dad.

If you've ever stopped into Wayside Market over the last 20+ years, chances are you've met him.

He's the guy who's always behind the line, always has a new idea, and somehow believes there's no problem that can't be solved with hard work... and a bowl of ice cream.

For as long as I can remember, he's talked about opening an ice cream stand.

It was one of those dreams that came up over family dinners, during long workdays, and on the ride home from the Shore.

This year, my sister, mom, and I decided it was time to stop letting him talk about it.

So we're building "Yo, Mose."

An ice cream pop-up from the family behind Wayside Market, inspired by three generations and my dad's lifelong love of ice cream.

Over the next few weeks, I'm sharing the story behind the name, the people, and the dream that brought us here.
