We’re thrilled to welcome back the CPFA Jazz Mavericks! 🎷⭐️

The Jazz Mavericks are one of two honors high school jazz combos at Pennsylvania Leadership Charter School (PALCS)’s innovative The Center for Performing and Fine Arts in West Chester.

Students study jazz standards and improvisation while gaining real-world gigging experience in the fall and performing at intensive jazz festivals in the spring. This year, the band traveled to the Festivals of Music in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, earning a 1st Place Superior Rating, Best Rhythm Section, Outstanding Jazz Ensemble, and Best Jazz Soloist awards! 🏆🎶

Many Jazz Mavericks alumni go on to professional careers as musicians, songwriters and producers.

🎵 Music begins at 5:30pm at the Rafferty Subaru Artistic Performance Space.

We hope to see you there! 🎷⭐️🎶
