Today was the best day ever!

I got to see so many of you I genuinely care about....and like.

I got to pull Gabe into my kitchen to help me with the lunch-crush.

We sold everything,....everything prepared.

I feel so blessed and so loved.

Thanks to all who have supported us and our weird, funky, unusual endeavor.

I consider today as a giant win!

I brought you good for you fast food.

You all thought it was good enough to come back for more.

My team (past and present) will always be known as . ALL coming forward with the same food ethics.

I should have done this last Friday when I knew but I didn't know how to write or say the right words.

I ran the #'s at least six times...

I am forced to make the decision to close Spoons.

It's ben a rough 2 years.

I feel better knowing that the National Restaurant Assoc. announced yesterday, that in our industry; 88% of Food and Beverage providers suffered the worst quarter since the pandemic started.

Plus, only 33% of Restaurant applicants recieved part of the 29M rescue funding made available by the Federal Government.

What a relief!

It's not because I wasn't trying.

It's been a 11 year journey that started with a mere $2500. (Thank you Marianne Hamlin)

I am blessed to have been a part of your communities, celebrations....lives.

I hang up my tongs with a myriad of emotion.

Sorrow vs excitement for the next step.

Regret vs joy.

I am confident I will land on my feet.

I know that mostly, I didn't want to disappoint anyone.

This has been the most difficult decision ever.

I will miss Spoons.

I will miss you.

Our last day of operations in both locations will be 1.28.2022.

Nothing but love...as always. :)
