The weather is looking good, flowers are in, and thanks to our friends at Van Eerden and Cedar Crest, we now have everything we need to get this party started. I still have a few things I need to take care of before we open doors. I also wanted to thank a few of my friends for coming through and helping me out: Shawn, her husband Larry, my buddy Josh, Brice, my wonderful neighbor Deb, Dar Howard ,Avelina and my wife Felicia.These are people behind the scenes helping me in every way they can and know how, in order to get this little shop open. Thank you all for your patience, and we look forward to serving you starting Monday, June 1.

Hi everyone, this past Saturday we celebrated the birthday of this wonderful little guy, my grandson Nikolai. My wife and I couldn’t be happier to be part of his special day. And today, my family and I are celebrating the birthday of my beautiful wife, Felicia. Wishing her many blessings as she has blessed us for 26 years and counting with love, patience, and kindness. She is my rock, definitely my better half, and the love of my life. Happy Birthday, darling.

Introducing Little Village's Summer Creative Series... check out our brand new collection of summer experiences designed for creativity, connection, movement, exploration, and fun!

Parents can enjoy a 3 hours alone to:
☕ grab coffee
🛍 run errands
💻 work remotely
🚶 walk the White Pine Trail
—or simply take a breath this summer.

Children will enjoy:
🎨 hands-on projects
✨ imaginative play
🍎 snack & social time
🤝 games, creativity, and connection
🌿 trail walks

Each series is led by local educators or creatives in Little Village’s safe and welcoming environment designed with childhood in mind. Our Summer Creative Series will run as a 5-week program beginning the week of June 22, 2026. Each series meets once per week and includes five total sessions. Please note: Little Village will be closed July 12–19 to support the Mecosta County Fair, and no sessions will take place during that week.
