Did you know we make our Cole slaw fresh daily? As of the now we are using fresh local cabbage, which makes our Cole slaw “Hanover Cole slaw”,maybe? It’s really some of the best Cole slaw I have ever eaten. You know why? I never ate it until I started making it for Sam’s. One day I thought if I’m gonna make I’m gonna eat it. I tired it that day and have loved it ever since. I now wonder if my mama’s was this good and I was so to stubborn to even try it!

Hey friends! As we approach the end of summer and our students will be going back to school we are looking for a few people to come on board. Realistically speaking we would also love to find someone capable of managing the business in my absence. Someone with open availability between 9:00 AM and 5:30 pm Monday through Saturday. We are looking for a few part time people to work through lunch and early afternoon and a few until 5:30 pm when we close. Pay will vary depending on experience and availability. It’s been a very busy week for the hotdog around here. Here’s the interesting part. We have cooked 320 slices of bacon, sliced 30 pounds of Hanover tomatoes( that y’all are crazy about) and made 15 pounds of chicken salad! Just since Monday. And I should share, we have ran out of ice twice this week. That’s more than 200 pounds of ice in that thing. Thank you Hanover for making the choice to chose us this week.
