Days like today make you want a big helping of banana pudding, right? It’s the dessert of the summer. Our fresh-made daily banana pudding is creamy,dreamy and packed with layers of those good, basic vanilla wafers, giving it layers of deliciousness. Because summer just taste better with banana pudding. Come and get you some before we run out.

Well, Hanover County… Y’all Sure Showed Up! ❤️🌭
Whew! What a week! 🥵 It was hot as a firecracker and busy as a Saturday night, but we wouldn’t have it any other way!

We just want to say a big ol’ THANK YOU to everybody who stopped by to see us this week. Whether you came for lunch, grabbed a shake or brought the family, or just swung by to say hey — we sure do appreciate y’all.

Your support, your smiles, and all those hotdog orders kept us hoppin’! 🌭🔥 And on those extra-busy days, thank you for being patient with us. We’re just grateful to have a community that continues to show us so much love.

We set out to do an “interview with Sami” this morning but it turned into us having one of our typical conversations together. Nothing says Southern comfort(not the whiskey) like our North Carolina vinegar-based BBQ. Tender, kissed with the right spices, tangy vinegar sauce and served with a generous helping of our fresh,house-made Cole slaw. It’s the kind of stuff that brings folks together-honest,hearty, and made with love! Come hungry!

Let’s talk about banana pudding! Do you remember the kind your Grandma would make? Where she would cook the custard, use eggs whites and cream of tartar and make a white top for it and brown those tips in the oven? Well that’s not the kind we make but it’s mighty close. We make our banana pudding right here in the shop so it’s always fresh. How good is it you ask? It’s so good you may want to use the spoon to smack your Grandma!
