Offering amazing Country Dairy Ice Cream, soft and hard serve, flurries, shakes, sundaes, coolers, glaciers, toasted subs, hamburgers, hot dogs,cheese curds. Sippy Joes features Lattes, fresh brewed coffee, Cold Brew, cappuccino, mud slides and iced turtle options. Also donuts and breakfast sandwiches.

We are closed a few days this week, as our local schools started before Labor day for I think the first time ever. If you are headed here know that many businesses are closed until Thursday for the same reason. Back open on Thursday night for the big weekend! Hoping to staff one more weekend after the holiday. Come get your turtle before the season is over!

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: Today two more of our newest staff members are highlighted.

Laura is also going into her junior year where she is an all A student who has already been awarded a scholarship to MSU.

Laura enjoys volleyball, basketball, soccer, track, golf. She like sports! She also participates in 4-H where she was chosen to be an ambassador and is in the color guard.

This is Laura's first year with us, and it is her first job. Her favorite part about working at the Dip is the friends she is making.

Laura plans to attend MSU and become a veterinarian after she gets in some traveling.

Braelyn is going into her junior year and enjoys sideline and competitive cheer. Braelyn is part of the student council and has a 3.99 GPA.

This is Braelyn's first year at the Whippy Dip and it is her first job. She is already amazing! Her favorite part of working here is the bonds created with co-workers.

Braelyn plans to travel after graduation and then pursue a career in physical therapy.

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: Today two more of our amazing staff members are highlighted.

Kaylyn is a Freshman who enjoys soccer, running and reading. She is a four sport athlete who is very proud of her perfect school attendance record.

This is Kaylyn's first season with the Whippy Dip, and her favorite parts are the free ice cream and her co-workers.

Kaylyn plans to attend college to become an ultra-sound technician.

Lexi is a junior this year, a full year ahead and plans to graduate before her 17th birthday. Lexi enjoys volleyball, shopping, drawing and baking.

This is Lexi's second season with the Whippy Dip, and her favorite part has been the great people she gets to work with and the lessons she has learned.

Lexi plans to go directly to Cosmetology school as soon as she graduates, and her goal is to someday own her own salon.

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: Today two more of our newest staff members are highlighted.

Olivia is a Junior honor roll student who was received an all conference academic award for both soccer and wrestling.

Her hobbies include soccer, showing, running and wrestling. Her favorite thing about the Whippy Dip so far is making new friends.

Olivia plans to go to college and become an orthodontist.

Briar is a Junior as well. She also is an honor roll student and has received the all conference academic award for volleyball and soccer. She also received the up and coming award for volleyball.

Briars hobbies include soccer, volleyball, baking and working out. She too finds the best part of the Whippy Dip is making new friends.

Briar plans to attend college and work in the medical field in the future.

50 YEARS!

Yesterday, we were honored to celebrate a very special milestone—50 years of memories with four incredible families.

Fifty years ago, these families began their tradition of visiting Silver Lake and stopping by our little ice cream shop. Twenty-five years ago, they commemorated that tradition with a photo in front of our sign. Yesterday, they recreated that same photo to celebrate 50 years of Whippy Dip memories!

Moments like these remind us how fortunate we are to be part of so many family traditions. Thank you to our Whippy Dip family for allowing us to share in your lives and for creating so many wonderful memories with us over the years. Here's to the memories we've made—and the ones still to come!

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: Today we celebrate a couple of our new team members. This is the first season for both and they have already had an impact on our culture and workplace.

Julian is a Freshman who loves Soccer, Basketball, track and hanging out with friends. His favorite thing about the Whippy Dip is the ice cream! Isn’t that true for all of us!

Julian has one huge goal, to win the world cup in Soccer. Wouldn't that be amazing!

Julian is a hard worker who puts his head down and does whatever is asked of him. I don't think he sees it yet, but he has natural leadership qualities that I can't wait to watch develop.

Mia is a Freshman and is one of our youngest members. We immediately were drawn to her attention to detail and desire to learn all aspects of the shop. Mia won a beauty pageant when she was 10 years old, and was voted as having the best laugh in her class. We can attest to that.

Mia's favorite thing about the Whippy Dip has been making new friends, and she plans to attend college to become an ultrasound technician.

Two amazing young people who are ready to help make your vacation the best ever. We are blessed to have them both.
