GFC is the volunteer and student run coffeehouse at Allegheny College, that organization and space provides an alternative space on campus for socializing, studying, intellectual discussion and debate, community and campus events, and provides an alcohol-free atmosphere. GFC strives to support environmentally sustainable practices including purchasing recycled materials and organic, fair trade, an

d locally grown and produced products. GFC is a not for profit business, and any proceeds go back into the upkeep and improvement of the space, or into events for the student body.
