Update: Entries for this apple pie contest will be accepted after July 15!
Calling all apple pie makers!! The Cochranton Community Fair is having an apple pie contest!!!!
To enter your luscious pie, first, you will need to either print and mail or drop off an entry form. Or scanned and emailed. The entry form can be found at www.cochrantonfair.org. The form needs to be completed and submitted by July 15th. Emailed forms can be scanned and emailed to [email protected].
Contest Rules:
To ensure your pie qualifies for the judging, keep these key criteria in mind:
Entrants must be amateur Pennsylvania residents.
Entrants can only submit one pie entry per person.
The pie filling must consist of at least 60% apples.
You must submit the full pie in a disposable, food-safe pie pan.
You must provide a typed or legibly written recipe (ingredients, quantities, and preparation instructions) on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper.
Your name and contact information must be written on the back of the recipe.
