Dear Friends and Family,

Today, it is with great sadness, and sincere disbelief, that we announce that Café Oggi will be closing its doors, for the last time, on January 1st, 2022. This year, Café Oggi celebrated its 30th year anniversary. Marking three decades, especially in the restaurant industry, is an inconceivable triumph that could only have been achieved, and now memorialized, by the friends and family we have in all of you. Through thick and thin, recession to pandemic, payphone to smartphone, your unconditional support has especially carried our gastronomic vision through historic changes in time. While we prepare to write the last page, of the last chapter, in a voluminous novel full of hilarious anecdotes, exciting storylines and more thrilling adventures (cue Sicilian wine tours) than we ever imagined possible, we reminisce on all the extraordinary memories we’ve shared together.

Those precious moments we cherished, together with each and every one of you, will live long past the end of this year, and will forever mark a permanent home in our hearts. ❤️

Thank you for allowing us to integrate a little slice of Italy’s old world splendor into your lives and into the beloved town of McLean.

We look forward to seeing you over the holidays.

We're closed on Mondays but that's no reason not to share some fun CafeOggi Trivia with you! Did you know?...
*We opened doors in May of 1991. That means we turn 30!! years old this coming May. 🥳 We were supposed to have opened in December of 1989, but a construction fire burned our reno down, causing us to have to start all over again!
*We have some of the best wait staff in all of the world. 🌎Our professional family has been with us for over 22 years and counting. We are so grateful for them!
*We put all of our resources into our food. It's important to us to put quality only into our cuisine. 🥕🧄🧅🍅We were born and raised in Southern Italy, where some of the best and most authentic food was served in some of the most unassuming places.
*Pre Covid, we celebrated every professional and personal family event at the restaurant. Baptisms, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Graduations, Baby Showers and on and on and ON... we even hosted one of our family's weddings here! 💒 Can't wait to be able to do so again soon.
