A heartfelt thank you to Michael Piff for taking the time to visit Plum Garden, hear our story, and shine a spotlight on what we’ve been building here for the past 61 years. To be included alongside the people and places that make McHenry special is something our family will never take for granted.
For three generations, Plum Garden has been more than just a restaurant. It’s been a labor of love.
Every recipe, every egg roll rolled by hand, every late night, every holiday spent serving our community, and every sacrifice made by our family has been for one purpose: to preserve something worth passing on.
In a world that’s constantly chasing what’s next, we believe some things deserve to stay exactly the way they are.
Our promise has always been simple:

Thank you to everyone who has supported our family since 1965. Whether you’ve been dining with us for decades or just discovered us, you’re part of this story. Your support has allowed a dream started by our mother and grandmother, Connie Moy, to continue into its third generation, and for that, we are deeply thankful.
