Dear McDonough and surrounding communities,

We have all experienced the recent tightening economy. Higher prices for seemingly everything are affecting us all. This includes your locally owned and operated businesses – the “mom & pop stores” that give communities their charm and local municipalities their tax dollars. Many businesses survived Covid. Sadly, some did not. Those that did are now facing their hardest downturn since Covid. We are asking our neighbors, friends, family, and community members - now more than ever - to support local. When you decide to spend your hard-earned money on a meal, clothing, shoes, a night out, or a book, please consider the many businesses owned by your friends and neighbors.

We opened our business here because we loved the community and the people, not because a marketing survey and demographic analysis churned out by a consulting firm hundreds of miles away said it was a solid investment. Small businesses need the community, and we believe a thriving community needs small businesses.

THIS FRIDAY, SEPT. 18TH, join us for a pop-up Toasting For Charity event for Speedway Children's Charities. Start your weekend hanging out with cool people, cool art, cool wine, and a very cool charity that serves many children. $15 at the door. The charity keeps 100% of that money; the gallery provides all the wine and charcuterie you could possibly want, and we all have a FABULOUS time. Join us this Friday, the 18th, 6 PM - 8 PM.

Get ready for the week!!!

What exactly are they?

Meaning of the Name: Jarritos means "little jugs" in Spanish. It honors the Mexican tradition of drinking water and juices from clay pottery jugs that keep drinks cold.

History: Don Francisco "El Güero" Hill founded the brand in Mexico in 1950, starting with a coffee flavor before moving into fruit varieties.

Ingredients: Unlike many mass-market sodas, Jarritos uses real cane sugar rather than high-fructose corn syrup. They are also lightly carbonated compared to typical American soft drinks.

Notice the Lime is lighter in color? Jarritos Lime features a new, lighter green color because the company removed artificial dyes like FD&C Yellow No. 5 and FD&C Blue No. 1, replacing them with vegetable juice.
