Dear Pippin’s BBQ of McDonough fans and FB followers, I am thrilled to share with you that on January 1, 2019, Nicole and I had the incredible opportunity to carry on the legacy of the oldest bbq restaurant in Henry County. It was a place where many of you, like me, have cherished memories of growing up and savoring delicious barbecue.

Founded by the legendary Ron Pippin, this humble eatery has been a beacon of warmth and hospitality. I remember being 17 and enjoying my first meal at his original location. Later, when he moved to 40 Sims St, I would often joke with Mr. Ron, saying, 'One day I'd love to own this place!' He would smile and nod graciously, as if to say, 'I believe you, kid!' It's been an extraordinary seven-year journey, and I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of our amazing customers. As we pass the torch to new ownership on January 20th, I invite you to stop by, introduce yourself, and share your own stories of enjoying the best barbecue in Henry County.
