Featured at the Sherwood Forest Faire near Austin, TX, Paleo Puffin offers delicious coffee and chai, soothing ho**ah, and calm, precious moments that allow its visitors to sit, relax, breath, and cherish the day. It was started by two members of the band Circa Paleo (hence the “Paleo” in “Paleo Puffin”) and is still owned by Jay Elkins and Jenny O’Connor. The idea was to create a gypsy/elven/quir

ky hangout at the Elven Hill stage where our friends could sip a hot, tasty beverage, smoke a ho**ah, grab a beer from the nearby pub, bring over a pizza from Como’s or some nachos from the Golden Conquistador and enjoy a day’s worth of awesome musical entertainment. Nowhere else, to our knowledge, can you find such a place at a Renaissance Festival.
