Some snapshots of the new Trax BBQ, and a little description of how we plan to utilize the space. We are hoping to open in the new space in the new year (Jan 2027)📸

🔥The Basement is being completely renovated and turned into our meat and prep area. We have installed an industrial lift that we will use to move product from the basement to the main level and out the back door to the smoker.

🔥We will have paved ADA parking adjacent to a ramp that can take you to the main level and food service area. We plan to designate a few seats as ADA priority on the main level

🔥We will be changing to cafeteria-style service so you will pick your food and portions à la carte and eat right away. No more buzzers, waiting in line AND waiting for food. Short order items (like our SMASHBURGERS and WINGS) will still be available and made to order - you will simply place those orders via self serve kiosk while waiting in line! Easy peasy:)

🔥The second level will be overflow seating and a family friendly game and bar space. *Staircase access only until we win the lottery and can afford an elevator* but everything available upstairs will be available downstairs (and vice versa) via a dumbwaiter and/or speakers (if we have live music)

🔥There is an exisiting patio and firepit which we plan to keep and use seasonally! And YES…we will have A/C🙌

Post any questions you have in the comments and we will do our best to answer what we know and hope you will continue to join us on this journey as we learn we don’t🙃

⚠️PAVING⚠️

In addition to having BOTH crossings closed “they” have decided to PAVE Railroad Street.

While we are so excited to have smooth clean crossings and road, we are NOT pleased that it’s all being done at the same time.

SOOOOO….there is a flagger and you have to tell him how desperately you NEED BBQ so they will let you pass.

Follow your nose!!!
