Southwest Mississippi Community College Workforce
celebrated the achievements of 96 students during its 2026 High School Equivalency (HSE) Graduation Ceremony today. Hosted through the college’s Workforce Division, the ceremony recognized the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of graduates who successfully completed their HSE requirements. Family members, friends, faculty, and staff gathered to honor the graduates as they took an important step toward continued education, career advancement, and future success Southwest Mississippi Community College.

Movies in the Park Celebrates Third Year at Oterious Marks Park

Families and community members gathered today at Oterious Marks Park for the sixth and final Movies in the Park event of the year, marking the conclusion of the series’ third successful season.

The event has become a favorite community tradition, bringing residents together for an evening of family-friendly entertainment and fellowship. The Movies in the Park series was made possible through the efforts and support of Selectman Matt Codding, the McComb Recreation Department, the McComb Fire Department, PAW Library, McComb Paint and Glass, the Dufrene Family, and the Webb Family.
