Hello friends....just an update about our closure today ( Sunday Jan 25, 2026)...thank you Lord that the worst of the awful weather missed us 🙏; however, we did close today.
Unfortunately, we had to make this decision on Friday afternoon/Saturday morning due to making orders for food products, food prepping, etc. And at that time, we were forecast for crippling inclement weather and power outages. And although it is much much higher cost, I did try purchasing some of the products that we didn't order at local grocery stores.....buuuuttttt, many, many items were simply unavailable 😢 or not of the same quality.
Further, many of our dishes require significant prep and cook times, marinating, etc., so there was simply no way to open today once it became clear that today's ( Sunday) weather was going to be simply heavy rains. Also, several local churches, groups, families, etc with standing reservation/seating times had already notified us that they were not having/attending services and would not be coming.....and, I'm sure, many folks had bought groceries in readiness for the bad weather and would not come out to eat today. Please stay warm and safe as the cold is supposed to be moving into our area this evening and tomorrow . God bless each of you!
