Next 2 days Maysville will honor a man.
He had 15 siblings and he was the first to go. That's a miracle in it's self.
Judge....as we call him around here...as most people did. Years ago I remember grown men would hate to stand before him.
He had a deep graspy voice that would sure make you pay attention. From time to time he would be talking with Buck and I would hear it when he was telling one of his many stories. He has been coming to Buck's Grill for many years. Even the harder times when he couldn't come in his son would bring him by and we would go out and talk to him.
His son Nick would take him out for drives often. One day they come in Judge said I'm sick as a dog...he's been taking me around the roads in Lewis County!!🤣🤣

When we made the Maysville Wall of Fame...he ask .. who's going up there..I said..George, Nick, Rosemary, Miss America 2000. He said well I want to be up there too.
So he was and he even signed his name.

He was always a fan of our Cheeseburger...
until Fish Friday came along. He said...I tell everybody about Buck's fish!!!! We believe we can thank him for our BIG Fish sells on Friday's he never missed a one. Fish and tots everytime!!!!

Back 1999...Judge married me and Buck..he would ask us from time to time...why don't you all let me marry you two again...we would say H___no....one time is enough. He would laugh.
I know there was a softer side to him...he always wore his wedding band.. even after his wife had passed many years ago.
I thought that was so sweet.
RIP Judge.. we will miss you at Buck's🩵
