What a weekend!!
We want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to Pig Out and stopped by to see us! You guys showed up hungry and definitely kept us busy, we sold out of so many things...but them pork belly burnt ends sold out first!!! And judging by how many chili cheese dogs went out, I think we may have found another favorite!
But I have to give a BIG shout out to Brian, because I am so proud of him! For the 3rd year in a row, he took 2nd place in brisket, and this year he added something new...3rd place in ribs! Anyone who knows Brian knows how much time, work and pride he puts into his smoking and BBQ. He was also the man behind all that smoked meat we served all weekend, while still competing at the same time. He works his ass off at these events, and seeing him walk away with TWO awards this year made all that hard work even sweeter. He won't brag on himself, so his wife is going to do it for him. Congratulations, Brian, you earned it, and I'm incredibly proud of you!
And a huge thank you to everyone who worked right alongside us all weekend. Pig Out is a LOT of work, and we couldn't do it without people willing to jump in wherever they're needed.
Most of all, thank you to everyone who ate with us, came back for more, stopped to chat, told a friend, or simply chose to spend some of your weekend supporting us. We truly appreciate every single one of you.
We had a great weekend, we're grateful, we're proud, we sold a whole lot of food!!
