Beyond the Brew: Meet Tierra!

Great coffee brings people together, but meaningful connections keep them coming back. For Tierra, becoming a barista at Georgette’s was an easy decision. “Georgette’s has always offered a fantastic environment. I love the coffee, the community, and all of the individuals that come by daily. When I saw the opportunity to join the team I couldn't pass it up!” Working at a mission-driven café means “waking up every day to bring a little more sunshine to those around me, being open to learn new things and overall creating connections with those I meet.”

Tierra hopes every customer experiences that same sense of belonging. “I want Georgette’s to continue to be the place guests can come to, feel welcome, be greeted by name and asked about their day.” And her favorite drink to recommend? “Our seasonal c***r donut latte! Whether you're enjoying it hot or iced, it's autumn in a cup! It's honestly the best way to bring on all the fall vibes!”

OES got a little extra pick-me-up this morning thanks to Otsego mom Kasey Moon, who was outside sharing coffee from Georgette’s!

And it’s coffee with a pretty great purpose. ❤️ Georgette’s creates meaningful employment opportunities for people with developmental disabilities, while every purchase helps support the mission of Sunshine Communities right here in Northwest Ohio.

A big thank you to Kasey for starting the morning with such a thoughtful surprise, and to Georgette’s for making every cup mean a little more. ☕🧡
