Good day everyone so I know this has nothing to do with food but I know how hard it is to find a dentist you can trust kind of like a mechanic for your mouth lol welp we found one yesterday and actually right in the heart of Massillon. I never even knew they were there. I used Google to find a good dentist and they popped up thank goodness for Google. Now this place is under new owners and let me tell ya to those who know my husband Jason and know how hard it can be to make him smile well this place had him in tears he was so grateful and satisfied. Jason has PTSD and does not do well in dental offices or Doctor office but he felt so safe and at home here. Now they do not do insurance like you think but they do take them. We used our care credit and it was worth it. The name is Hometown Dental office I'll show a picture and address of the office. I'm only sharing this here because tooth pain is the worst it can ruin your whole mood and take joy out of your life. This place does not judge you or make you feel like the way your teeth are is your fault and I've been to a lot of dentists and that is how it's been everywhere I go. Now I'm not saying there are not good dentists out there I'm just saying this place is the best even when I lived in Texas this place is number 1. So if your looking for a dentist you can trust and not make you think you need more done then you do then Hometown Dental office is the place.

I know we're not open anymore to do our mother's day buffet but we still want to wish all the moms out there whether it be biological,step,mom by love but not blood, fur moms, or just someone who stepped up to the plate to be the mom role. Happy Mother's Day weekend I hope you all have the best weekend ever. I'll be out dashing so if you dash and see the name Rachel S welp say hi cuz I miss you all so much. Take care everyone.

Ok so please don't think I mean any disrespect but as I cross the bridge on Oberlin of course I cry but I honestly think it would be such an amazing idea to name it The Trenton Campbell bridge and maybe put a speed bump there. He was so loved and Massillon lost a part of its heart that day. So many people speed on that road not just him so why not take this and help not let this happen again. I'll miss your smile and amazing spirit for life I truly hope we can make this happen.

So as many have heard a part of Massillon was lost today. Trenton was such an amazing young man whom I've known since he was a cute little guy at The Sugar Bowl when he worked hard even at a young age. Then we were blessed to have him work with us until he started playing football. In Dec my car broke down Trenton saw me walking to work in the snow which is only about a 15 minute walk but it was cold and I'm old. I hear a voice say "Mrs Rachel" I look over there was his sweet smile that always made everyone's day better look at me and ask if I wanted a ride. Yes of course, during this short but much appreciated ride we talked about him getting his CDL license so he could make money doing what he loved and seeing where the road could take him. I told him I was so proud of him and couldn't wait to see him find that road. I'm so heartbroken for his Mom and all his family and know that Massillon will forever miss that smile. R.I.P Trenton we are blessed to have known you.

Welp, not going to lie this Easter will be a rough one. Doing the Buffet and then spending time with friends and family afterwards became a huge part of our lives and holidays but I wanted to make sure to take the time and say Happy Easter to everyone. We truly hope you all have a blessed and amazing holiday together. Love and miss you all.

With frigid temperatures expected over the next week, we have compiled a list of locations community members can visit to stay warm throughout the day. If you know of additional sites, please share in the comments.

Our nightly Warming Shelter at St. Paul AME Church is still going strong. 1800 E. Tuscarawas St., 44707. Guests are welcome nightly from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Those in need of transportation can use SARTA route 107 at no cost.

The Massillon City Schools will be closed Tuesday, January 20, 2026 due to forecasted wind chills. All offices throughout the district will be closed.❄️

All high school extracurricular activity information will be communicated through coaches/advisors. All middle school extracurricular activities will be cancelled.
