I had the privilege of catering for a wedding sangeet last night, which proved to be an enjoyable experience. It was a team effort that contributed to its success. My primary objective was to make the event special for the bride. The event was hosted by the bride's side, and the menu was specifically chosen by the bride.

Last evening was pure joy ✨

A few weeks ago, a wonderful guest reached out to plan a cooking class for a group of 10. After juggling dates, we finally made it happen—and what a night it turned out to be!

The most special part? Realizing that so many of the guests had already dined with us multiple times. That feeling of being remembered, trusted, and loved… truly humbling ❤️

And for the first time ever—I taught Butter Chicken 😄Something I’ve always held close because of how detailed and nuanced it is… but last night, it felt right to share. And it turned out beautifully!

So grateful for evenings like these—full of laughter, learning, and amazing energy.

I love tasting menus.

This tasting menu truly pushed me out of comfort zone. Each course was a new dish and a different kind of challenge. Some techniques, some sauces and sooooo much learning.

Many people assume my cafe is shut down. On the contrary it is my creative space. A space where I bring flavors together, enjoy working and hosting and making a connection over food. I have made some amazing friends and been given so much love and respect.

From making the 100 layer potato as aloo Gobi, making a beetroot gel and saffron cashew cream, pickling an glorifying the black radish this menu was a dream. I have so much more to learn and I will never forget that.

To a little growth and lots of flavors I present our new tasting menu that we hosted last night. And of course thanks to my AMAZING AMAZING TEAM. Thank you!!! I am who I am because you stand with me and my frustrations and help me meditate at times when I feel the menu is a mess.

And of course a huge thank you to Paul who is constantly helping me out. Yes chef Paul. A mentor, friend and guide.

So what’s a locavore? I promise this word is something I heard for the first time.

And how are you guys?? It’s been sometime since I posted. I have been taking time to learn and process and try new techniques. I have another private tasting menu coming up and it’s been keeping me busy. But happy.

Clients who became friends and friends who also became clients came out to support my kolorful kitchen last night for our first tasting menu.

It was a full house but more than anything else what made me proud of the love that I have got, the relationships I have built and I food I have been able to create. So today instead of the food I want to share the people who make me who I am.
