Today, take a moment to explain to your children and grandchildren the significance of the day and why they are not in school. It is vital to continue this sacred tradition with future generations.

Today is the most expensive holiday on the calendar, as it serves as a tribute to all the servicemen and women who have given their lives for our freedom and that of generations to come.

We pay tribute:
To the mothers who never saw their children again.
To the fathers who wept in silence.
To the wives, and husbands, who raised their children alone.
To the children who only know their heroes through photographs in uniform.

At 3 p.m. local time, the Nation participates in a Moment of Remembrance, during which we pause for one minute of silence to honor our fallen heroes.

They will be forever remembered and never forgotten

Question for our Vegan & Gluten Free Fans: If you are familiar with in Boston, would you come to Polar Cave Ice Cream Parlour for their unique flavours, made by hand with coconut milk and a blend of organic, natural sweeteners and real ingredients, plant based, Gluten Free, and Soy Free offerings? It would sell at a premium price, as it costs almost 50% more than our ice creams. If you have not heard of check out their website www.fomuicecream.com and page. Their product is absolutely incredible, and NO ONE could EVER guess it is made with Coconut Milk.
