Today, Tennessee lost a piece of its soul and for many in our family, we lost an undeniable source of inspiration for serving others.

Dolly Parton was more than a country music legend. She was the sound of the mountains that we call home, a storyteller for generations, a dreamer who never forgot where she came from, and a woman whose generosity was every bit as remarkable as her talent. She was the very definition of what it means to be hospitable.

She showed the world that you could come from humble beginnings, dream bigger than anyone thought possible, and still bring your home, your people and your values along for the ride.

The Smoky Mountains will feel a little quieter today and in a show of our support, we will be remembering Dolly through her music in all of our dining rooms for the foreseeable future.

Dolly represented our home like none other and the Launch Hospitality family mourns with everyone else the passing of a Tennessee legend in music, hospitality and otherwise.
