Employee Spotlight - Meet Matt, our driver!

Matt starts his day (and the van) up at 4:00am. His first stop is Richy Kreme on Northshore, where we make all of our donuts by hand from scratch. He then loads up the van with racks of hot donuts to make his first of several deliveries for the day. He delivers donuts first thing to our Maryville location so they have fresh-made donuts ready for customers by 6:00am.

When Matt’s not at work, his passion is music. He plays the drums and guitar. Affectionately known as “the troublemaker”, Matt says he’s our manager’s favorite employee 😄. Matt has been with us for 3 years and we love him. He works very hard and loves the culture here at Richy Kreme. Oh, and his favorite donut is our chocolate cake.

Local Love - Shout out to Jeremy Locke of !

He saw an opportunity to help his community and stepped up. The Martin Luther King Community Center in Alcoa had their food funding cut. Jeremy took it upon himself to help feed the kids who attend the summer program. He reached out to us to collaborate and we happily agreed. Local supporting local - that’s what it’s all about.
