What. A. NIGHT.🥹🍂

Be Wiched at Night was buzzing tonight, kids ate free, dinner was rolling, and we absolutely loved seeing the crossover from The 9th House’s Autumn Equinox Gathering. There were autumnal crowns all over the dining room and that’s exactly the kind of Friday night we love around here.👑🍁

Meanwhile, our dynamic dad + daughter duo, David & Daisy, took Be Wiched on the road for Piedmont Arts Savory September! This was our second year participating, and they had the BEST time serving everyone and representing our little diner.♥️

And apparently there was one very clear crowd favorite

Consider this your official warning: they WILL be making their return when our Fall Menu drops.😉

Tonight was one of those nights where everything felt connected, good food, families, community, events happening all over Martinsville Uptown, and so many familiar faces moving between them.

Our Summer in Sorrento has been one of those sandwiches that just tastes like the season, melty, fresh, bright, a little messy in the very best way and she’s almost ready to say arrivederci👋🏻

☀️It is HOT hot hot out there today☀️

And on a day like this, sometimes you just want lunch that feels a little cooler.

Two Be Wiched favorites absolutely understand the assignment:

🥑Avocado Toast — fresh avocado piled onto toasted bread and finished with everything seasoning. Simple, fresh, and so good.

🥪Chicken Salad Sandwich — our cold, creamy chicken salad stacked high with crisp lettuce + tomato on toasted bread. Add a pile of our hand-cut fries and call it lunch.

🌙BE WICHED AT NIGHT IS HAPPENING🌙

We’re here tonight, the lights are on late, and if you haven’t figured out dinner yet, consider this your sign.

Tonight’s special is my White Chicken Chili, creamy, cozy, loaded up with chicken, corn, herbs + spices, finished with cheese, fresh cilantro, lime and a good handful of crunchy Fritos because obviously🤌🏻

AND for my people with eyes on Main St, yes, this one comes with a little Kettle sneak peek.

This chili has been a family favorite for almost two decades, and it’s exactly the kind of warm, comforting, made-with-love food you’ll find when Kettle comes to life.

But tonight I have to give credit where it’s due, David made the chili. I handed over a “measure with your heart recipe” I’ve been making for nearly 20 years, and y’all, he made me SO proud. He absolutely nailed it.

Okay, sentimental moment over😂
