As part of the Museum's ongoing Green Initiative, the PALEO Cafe uses eco-friendly practices in all areas of operation. Coffee sleeves used in the PALEO Cafe are made from post-consumer recycled fibers, and plastic cups are made of biodegradable corn starch. The Cafe also uses china plates to serve its delicious desserts, which can be washed and reused. The Cafe also makes used coffee grinds available to customers for use in their gardens (used coffee grounds are available to customers on a first-come, first-served basis). Your support of the PALEO Café and the VMNH Museum Store provides funding for the education and exhibits programs of the Virginia Museum of Natural History that are not funded by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
