Some people help you build a business. A rare few become part of its foundation.

Today Cam is working his last shift at The Ground Floor.

Cam was a part of the original team we hired when we OPENED in 2021. After doing the math we realized he has opened this shop over 1,200 times in the past 5+ years. Twelve hundred early mornings unlocking the doors, turning on the lights, and making sure the shop was ready for all of you.

That number tells you a lot about Cam, but it still doesn’t fully capture how loyal, dependable, and genuinely good he has been to us and to our team. He has been so much more than an employee. He has been a steady presence, a trusted friend, and instrumental in The Ground Floor becoming what it is today.

Cam, we think the world of you and we are so excited for your next chapter. Thank you for believing in this place from the very beginning and for showing up for it, and for us, over and over again.

We will miss you Cam! The door you opened so many times will always be open for you ❤️
