If you currently live, grew up or spent any amount of time in the Marshalltown area, chances are you probably have a memory that involves one of the most historic Dairy Queen stores in America! North 3rd Avenue Dairy Queen has been serving up GENERATIONS of ice cream treats in Marshalltown for 78 years, and has been a community landmark for decades. It is the place where we celebrate milestone events, treat the kids after the big game, or just reward ourselves for a job well done! North 3rd Avenue Dairy Queen is one of the first 100 DQ stores ever built in the USA and one of the oldest food establishments in Marshalltown. The store has been locally owned and operated by the Wollam family since 1965. We would love to hear from all of our customers as well as former employees and friends.
