We wanted to share an update on Magnolia Joy on behalf of Austin and Katie.

On Wednesday, Magnolia started not acting herself and having poor feedings. By Thursday there was no improvement along with new symptoms that started to appear. On Thursday afternoon we made the decision to rush her to the ER at Fairfax Children’s Hospital for evaluation. After many tests, an MRI showed that our sweet girl had suffered a massive stroke.
She is being monitored by the best care team here at the children’s hospital. While we know what the doctors have spoken, we know that God has and is performing a miracle in her body as we speak. Her lungs, heart are all perfect. She has made great progress over the last few days and we praise God for every good report.
Tomorrow is a HUGE day for Magnolia. We ask that our family and friends believe with us that when the rescan her brain tomorrow, they will see new life in her brain. That when doctors pull up the scans they won’t have answers, but we will because we know God is a miracle working God. He has already done what he has promised. We are at perfect peace that all is well with our sweet girl and that we will bring her home!

We are overwhelmed with the love, support, and prayers everyone has surrounded us with. We know she has an army of people surrounding her in prayer as we believe for Magnolia’s miracle.
