It’s 10:15, and Brian’s cooking up a storm for tomorrow- we sold out of both tacos tonight & working on Saturday’s menu as I type. 😮

Ooookay - so. I'm learning and re-learning new things every day! Brian & I (Hi! It's Kate🙂) are eagerly awaiting construction to be finished at 18 N Main St (The "Old Main St. Cafe" building). In the meantime, I'm working on getting my communications up and running - because eventually there will be news to share & I want to be able to!
So far, I've made a Star Taco page, Instagram and launched a very bare-bones website.

😁 Soon, you'll be seeing more about "Star Taco" 🌮
We don't know exactly when - construction time-lines are a moving target! - but we do know that we'll be just down the road - still in Marshall, still on Main Street, in the old Main Street Cafe building just as soon as it's ready!!
Links will be posted, emails sent and a Google business profile made, as we transition to Star Taco in the near future.

We're all a little sad that we won't be coming back as Star ⭐️ Diner, and as much as we ALL love 🌮 TACOS 🌮 we want One. Last. Hurrah 🎉 with Finer Dining.

Facebook Memories popped up yesterday & reminded me that 8 years ago, when Star Diner 1st opened, I had a new office with a new view and a new adventure ahead of me. Funny how history repeats itself. I haven't *exactly* gotten Brian a kitchen yet (but we do have the *promise* of a new kitchen!) but I have moved into a 2nd floor office on Main St, upstairs from the space that is being renovated to be our next great adventure.
Brian has dreamed of having a counter-service TACO shop for longer than you might think and now that he has some time on his hands while taking a *break* from "finer" dining, we're making it happen.
We had a "pop up" dinner for New Year's Eve at the "Old Ave. M Space" on Merrimon last month that was a huge success, a lot of fun and a lot of work. Acceptance that this will be a fairly long break from Fine Dining that we are taking to focus on Star Taco includes saying "Farewell For Now" in the form of One Last Show -♥️ Valentine's Weekend ♥️ Most of our Star Diner staff will be joining us for a 2-night, 4-course dinner with wine pairing.
