Opened in April of 2006 is Lagniappe Cajun Creole Eatery. Six month's later came the in house VooDoo Bar. Since that time a standard of quality food and service unsurpassed has been the basis for our authentic southern eatery. Stepping into Lagniappe is like stepping out of Marquette and into Louisiana. Every menu item and ingredient is made from scratch and in house, with the exception of ice cre

am, and we're working on that! The myth that all Cajun food is spicy, is just that, a myth! Here we cook with spice for flavor, not for heat. We do feature authentic Louisiana culinary classics but thats just a part of our current 100 item menu. It's the passion of Chef and the Lagniappe Krewe, for how we do, what we do, that's built the reputation we enjoy! We're very proud to say we have regulars from across the country and other nations and in particular have never failed to wow a visitor from Louisiana or the south!

Well Marquette, we thought we made enough, but y'all had other plans. We sold out of blueberry bread pudding in record time yesterday, and thats not an easy feat. We will still have it in house until the middle of August incase you missed it yesturday. We do need to give a huge shout out to our morning kitchen krewe for their fast paced, and dedicated work yesturday, keeping up as long as we could. They cook and prep our food from scratch, and our bread puddings are no exception to that.

Our rotating special bartender beverages are of course both blueberry flavored! One being a blended drink with frose, rose, vodka and fresh blueberry syrup, the other is a dirty soda N/A with soda water, lime, blueberry muffin syrup, and coconut cream. Both are being served with fresh picked wild Michigan blueberries 🫐

For over 20 years, Lagniappe has been serving scratch-made food and the level of hospitality you've come to know and love. Every shift is fast-paced, every day is a little different, and every guest walks through our doors expecting an experience they'll remember.

Working here is a bit like hosting a big dinner party. There's plenty of hard work, but there's also laughter, teamwork, and the satisfaction of creating memorable experiences for every guest.

We're currently looking to add great people to both our Front and Back of House teams! Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Apply through Indeed, or better yet, stop in and introduce yourself. We'd love to have a conversation.

We can teach you our recipes. We can teach you our systems. We can even teach you the skills. What we can't teach is work ethic, kindness, and the desire to take care of people. If you bring those with you, we'll help with the rest.

CORN! You know, the big lump with k***s that's got the juice? That's right, R&D Wagner Produce is back in Marquette and we have their sweet corn available. Add it to your boils, your blackened stove, hell, maybe even your beignets.

Love the corn? They will be in the parking lot across from Nicolet Bank Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings.

As a small business, we always appreciate when someone reaches out to us with kind words and praise. So imagine our excitement when we woke up this morning to learn we have been named Marquette's #1 Chinese restaurant.

This is right up there with the time we were voted one of the Top 3 Ribs in Marquette County, despite not having ribs on the menu, and we could not be more proud of this achievement.

To everyone who has supported us over the years, thank you!
