Every cup tells a story — from patients powering through long days, to families navigating tough moments, to the hospital staff who provide the highest quality of care with skill and compassion. Sometimes, their story starts with a favorite drink that fuels a long shift and ends with hope for families staying at the Beacon House. ☕️💛

While hospital teams care for their patients, we’re honored to be the cozy place they return to — a spot to rest, recharge, and find a little comfort for themselves.

Meet Kaylee ☕

She’s been part of the Coffee for a Cause family since July, making someone’s day a little brighter — one cup of coffee at a time — and getting to know our regulars along the way.

Her go‑to drink? An iced vanilla latte with cold foam — sweet, smooth, and always a treat.💛

When she’s off the clock, you’ll find her exploring the UP, hanging out at Presque Isle, camping, and adventuring with her husband and their 150‑lb dog. 🐶

Now Hiring: Happy Baristas ☕

Join our mission-driven coffee shop located inside the hospital! We’re looking for friendly, dependable baristas who enjoy creating a welcoming experience for patients, visitors, and hospital staff.

What You’ll Do:
• Prepare coffee, espresso, and café items
• Provide excellent customer service
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Work as part of a supportive team

What We’re Looking For:
• Positive attitude and reliability
• Great communication and people skills
• Coffee shop or food service experience preferred, but willing to train the right person
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with compassion and professionalism

She’s been part of the Coffee for a Cause family since April, serving as our Operations Manager and pouring plenty of heart into everything she does.

Her go‑to drink? A classic Americano — simple, strong, and always a solid choice. ✨

Meet Aiden☕

He’s been part of the Coffee for a Cause team for about a year, serving up smiles (and some seriously good drinks). His go-to order? A honey cinnamon latte.🍯✨ When he’s not here, you’ll probably find him playing guitar in not one, but TWO bands! Singing too… but he’ll be the first to tell you the singing is still a work in progress. 🎸😄
