To all our Street Kitchen friends, family, and the vibrant community that has filled our little space with spice, warmth, and laughter,
It’s with heavy hearts, countless cherished memories, and more resistance than you can imagine, that we share this news: Street Kitchen will be closing its doors, with our last day of service on Wednesday, December 18th.
When we started this journey, our dream was simple—to create a place where everyday people could gather over bold, comforting Indian-inspired food and feel completely at home. A place where Mango Chili Chicken, Tikka Masala Pizza, and the stories that came with them brought people together, not just as customers but as a community.
And for a long time, that dream lived beautifully in your conversations, your celebrations, your weekly comfort orders, and the energy you brought in with every visit.
But as much joy as this place has given us—and as hard as we’ve fought—the numbers won’t let us continue. And it hurts.
It hurts because we loved cooking for you.
It hurts because Street Kitchen became a “home-away-from-home” for so many.
And it hurts because we know how much this space has meant to all of you who found your people here—your flavors, your memories, your comfort.
We hope you’ll stop by in these final days to celebrate what the last wonderful years have meant. Bring your favorite stories—your first bite of a dish you fell in love with, your funniest group dinner, the food you always recommended to friends. Share those moments with us one more time.
From the bottom of our hearts, we want to say thank you.
Thank you to the friends and supporters who believed in the vision long before it existed.
Thank you to our families, who stood behind every late night, every risk, every crazy idea.
Thank you to the Marlborough community, for embracing Indian fusion flavors with such joy.
Thank you to our incredible team, who poured love into every plate and made the experience what it was.
And most of all—thank you to our regulars, our day-ones, our loud laughers, our spice lovers—you are the soul of Street Kitchen, and you are the reason this dream ever lived at all.
Please come in for your last Street Kitchen meals, your last shared moments, your last tastes of the flavors we created together. Hold them close. Make us that “back-in-the-day place”—the one you’ll talk about when you say, “Remember Street Kitchen? Those were the days…”
Don’t forget us—because we will never forget you.
With endless gratitude,
Street Kitchen
