Swamp Fox Tavern The Swamp Fox Tavern is located on the courthouse square in historic downtown Marion, Alabama. The bar will also be open during brunch.

Our customers may select from an American Southern cuisine menu in a casual environment. Our bar, located on the second floor, offers both domestic and imported beer, wine and mixed cocktails. On the first Sunday of each month, we are open for Sunday Brunch from 11:30 am - 2:30 pm. The Swamp Fox Tavern is available for prearranged private events. Laurette Turner will be showcasing her artwork on November 17th, 2019 at the historic Curry-Turner House from 1 PM till 4PM. Many of you will recognize Laurette from our estate sales so y'all be sure to visit Laurette and enjoy the Art, Fellowship and light refreshments.

The Swamp Fox Tavern will be commemorating the life of Dr. Frankie Oglesby with a Wake on Tuesday, March 17th from 5:30 - 7:30 PM. Bring pictures and share your memories of our loved one as we celebrate her life. A cash only bar will be open.

It is with sad and heavy hearts that we must inform you, our friends, of the passing of owner Dr. Frankie Oglesby. Dr O. was community oriented and enjoyed visiting with everyone that came across her path. She was one of a kind and will be missed greatly. The Swamp Fox Family would like to thank all of you for your support and kindness during this very difficult time.

Take your choice between our Beef Brisket with seasonal vegetables and green beans; Pork Loin with hoppin' john and vegetable medley; or our delicious fresh Catfish with slaw and wild rice. If you are planning on attending Winterfest 2014 tomorrow in Marion, AL the Swamp Fox Tavern will be open for lunch! We will be serving Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers, Polish Sausage, Catfish Sandwiches, Philly Cheesesteaks, Fried Jumbo Chicken Wings and Hot Wings. All entrees are served with french fries or onion rings.

Come join us after the Dave's Highway concert at Judson College for great steaks, chicken, seafood and more!
