We hope everyone had a great Christmas.

This time was much needed for us — a chance to slow down, spend time with family, and reflect. We’re incredibly grateful for all the support, friendships, and memories made over the years. As this chapter comes to a close, thank you to everyone who was part of the journey.

As we finish cleaning out the space and prepare it for our new friends coming in January, we’ll be making select restaurant items available over the next week, including:
– Solid wood tables and booths
– Light fixtures
– under-bar beer cooler
– Kitchen prep tables
– (2) prep refrigerators
– Undercounter refrigerator
– Reach-in refrigerator
– Hobart mixer
– Be & SCO dough press

I’ll be available all week and in and out of the building.

Items will not be held.
Prices will not be discussed in comments — please DM for details or come see items in person.

If you own a restaurant, food truck, or small business — or are opening something new — feel free to message me directly.

The Burrito Bros name stays with us. This is simply about rehoming the space and its contents.

Thank you again for everything. We truly appreciate you all.

First off, thank you — truly.
Wow. I honestly did not expect the amount of messages, comments, and memories that have been pouring in since we announced our closing. Reading through all of them has meant more than I can put into words. I’ve loved every bit of it. Thank you all so much.

Since the announcement, we’ve been asked the same question almost every single day. We’ve gone back and forth on it, talked it through, and really tried to figure out what the right move is.

There’s no doubt in my mind that we made the right decision for ourselves. It was the right call. Marion is absolutely something I would do all over again — ten times over. My personal life has just changed. I want to focus more on my family, and anything I do moving forward, I want them to be a part of it. This job requires a lot of attention and sacrifice, and while it’s rewarding in its own way, our priorities have shifted.

With that said, my brother and my wife and I have been talking a lot about what comes next.

While our location is closing and a new restaurant will be moving in, it’s become clear that Burrito Bros left a much bigger imprint on this town than we ever realized.

Because of that, we’re seriously considering passing the torch — offering the Burrito Bros name, logo, recipes, and business structure, essentially the blueprint of what made Burrito Bros work so well here in Marion.

This is a concept that has proven it can work — whether that means moving it into a new brick-and-mortar location or starting the same way we did with a food truck. We also have more than enough equipment to support either path.

Burrito Bros isn’t just a building — it’s a brand, a concept, and a reputation that clearly still means something to a lot of people.

If there’s someone out there who believes in it, respects what it was, and wants to carry it forward the right way, we’re open to having that conversation. We’re only interested in speaking with people who are genuinely serious and understand what it takes to carry something like this forward.

And if we don’t feel like we’ve found the right person, I’m perfectly okay hanging that name on my wall and not regretting a single bit of it.

If this interests you, feel free to message me directly.

Thank you again for the love, the memories, and the support. It truly means everything to us.

Hey everyone —

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you again for all the love, support, and kind words since our final post. Reading through everyone’s comments has truly meant a lot to us. It’s been an amazing journey, and we can’t thank you enough for being part of it.

We didn’t want to leave things open-ended, so I wanted to share what’s next for our old spot. Over the past few weeks, we’ve been talking with several people who were interested in the location — and I’m happy to say we finally found the right fit.

The Madness (A sushi/burger fusion restaurant ) will officially be moving into our old restaurant starting in January. They’ll be spending some time remodeling the dining room and putting their own touch on everything. It’s going to take them a little while to get things ready, but when they open, they’re going to come back strong.

I’m also letting go of a lot of restaurant equipment from our place. If you’re interested in anything, feel free to message me — I’d be happy to meet and show you what’s left.

Thank you again to everyone who supported us through the years. We couldn’t have done it without you. ❤️

We’ve had so many loyal customers and supporters over the years, but today we wanted to give a special shout-out to one of our most dedicated. Since 2022, this guy has contributed nearly 2% of our total sales every year — that’s incredible for a small local spot like ours.

He came by today for one last Burrito Bros meal before we close, and we surprised him with the metal Burrito Bros sign that’s hung above our kitchen all these years. It just felt right that it went to the person who’s been with us through it all.

And to all of our regulars, followers, and supporters — we can’t thank you enough. You’re the reason we’ve made it this far, and you’ve made every long day and late night worthwhile. This right here… this is the hardest part of walking away. ❤️

Last Day at Burrito Bros 🌯❤️

It’s hard to put this into words, but today is officially our last day at Burrito Bros. Since I announced the closing earlier this week, we’ve been flooded with messages, comments, and memories. I haven’t been able to respond to everyone — honestly, it’s been emotional — but I’ve read every single one, and it’s meant the world to us.

These last few days have been incredible. You guys have kept us slammed from open to close, and we can’t thank you enough for all the love, support, and patience. This ride has given us friendships, memories, and moments we’ll never forget.

We’ll open today at 12, but I’m not sure how long we’ll last — I was hoping to make it to dinner, but the odds are slim with how busy it’s been. We’ll also have a limited run of t-shirts and a few hoodies available since so many of you asked for them.

As hard as it is to say goodbye, I know this is the right move for our family right now. For now, this is where the Burrito Bros story rests. Maybe someday it’ll find a new chapter — but for now, we’re just thankful for the one we got to share with you.

Thank you for giving this little food truck a chance all those years ago, and for helping it grow into something truly special. From the bottom of my heart — thank you for every visit, every share, and every kind word. It’s been an honor to roll one with you. 🌯🤘

Almost ten years ago, we rolled the dice and started a little food truck — just like our parents once did. Every weekend we set up across from Jack Frost, not knowing what would come of it. Each weekend got a little busier, and before we knew it, it became part of our lives.

Over the years, Burrito Bros grew from that small truck into a full restaurant that became part of the Marion community. We’ve fed countless people, met new faces, made friends who became family, and built something we’ll always be proud of.

For nearly a decade, we’ve poured everything we have into this business — every ounce of time, energy, and heart. But in doing so, we’ve had little time left for ourselves or our families. It’s time to take a step back, rest, recharge, and finally live a little outside of work.

Burrito Bros has always been more than a business — it’s been our life.
Every detail came from the heart, and we’re proud to close this chapter on our own terms. The name stays with us, and so will every memory and moment that came with it. ❤️

To our amazing staff — past and present — thank you. You’ve been the backbone of this place, helping it grow and keeping it running strong. And to our community — thank you for letting us into your homes, for trusting us to feed your families, sponsor your kids’ teams, and be part of your lives. You made this ride unforgettable. 🌯❤️

This Thursday–Saturday will be our final weekend.
We’d love for you to stop by one last time — grab your favorite meal, share some laughs, and celebrate this journey with us.

My wife and I will be continuing our creative work through Darkwood Threads , something that grew from what we learned running Burrito Bros. It’s our way of staying connected — helping local businesses, creating, and watching our town thrive.

And of course, Lee Roy has been part of this journey since day one — bringing energy, humor, and good vibes everywhere he goes. We’re thankful for the time and heart he’s given and proud we got to share this ride together as brothers.

No matter where life takes us next, Burrito Bros will always be something we built together — as a family — and we’ll always be grateful for every person who’s been part of that story.

If you want to make our day, share a favorite memory with us — a photo, a birthday, a check-in, or a moment from the past ten years that you’ll always remember. Seeing those memories and stories would mean the world to us. ❤️
