🍕 SUPPORT LOCAL RESTAURANTS. SUPPORT MARION. VOTE FOR! ✅

The Depot Pizzeria encourages eligible voters to vote FOR on-premises alcohol sales on November 3 under City of Marion Ordinance No. 654.

Why does this matter for our community?

✅ Fewer obstacles for new restaurants. Removing the private-club requirement could make Marion more attractive to chain restaurants and independent businesses considering a location here.

✅ Less red tape for existing restaurants. Restaurants could pursue traditional restaurant alcohol permits instead of having to operate as private clubs to serve liquor.

✅ Lower purchasing costs. With the appropriate restaurant permit, businesses could purchase liquor from licensed wholesale distributors instead of through retail liquor stores—helping reduce the cost of providing the services customers already enjoy.

Restaurants here already serve alcohol. This measure would make the process simpler and more affordable, while businesses would still have to follow applicable licensing requirements and alcohol laws.

At The Depot, we believe helping existing businesses succeed and making room for new dining options is good for Marion.
