A FAMILIAR FACE ON TELEVISION
Actress Inga Swenson, best known for TV’s “Benson,” has died of natural causes at the age of 90.
Swenson received three Emmy nominations in the 1980s for playing the German cook, Gretchen Kraus, on TV’s “Benson.”
Other TV credits include the mini-series, “North & South” (Books 1 & 2) and “Soap.”
Her acting career on TV and in the movies (including 1962’s “The Miracle Worker) spanned more than 40 years.
She was also a singer who was honored with two Tony nominations for her work in Broadway musicals.
She is survived by Lowell Harris, her husband of 70 years. Today, he told me, “She was a special woman and we had a special relationship,” adding, “We were the right pair together.”

On this Mother's Day I feel so blessed to be able to wish my mother Marilyn a wonderful 96th birthday today!!! She has always been a pillar in my life and a best friend and confidant. I know I can always go to her for good advice if I am not sure I'm doing the right thing. I love her very much and always will!
