You've probably heard conflicting advice about storing coffee, so let's settle one of the biggest myths.

Should you freeze your whole coffee beans?

Yes—but only if you're storing them for later.

Quick tips:
🫘Store whole beans in an airtight container.
🫘Freeze only coffee you're saving for later in single-use portions.
🫘Don't repeatedly open and return the same bag to the freezer. This is why single-use portioned bags are critical.
🫘Never put a thawed bag or jar back in the freezer.
🫘Grind just before brewing.
🫘Don't store coffee in the refrigerator.
