Things are moving along nicely in preparation for the new podcast launching March 5th! I think most everybody has thought about their dream job. Unfortunately, following your dreams doesn't always seem "possible" and/or can be very difficult to do. You might be afraid to try, might not have the financial means or may wonder what people might think if you do try.

I'm going to share some of my stories about following some of my dreams (this is my latest one) and talk to some others who have followed theirs to varying results.

How do you measure success? Maybe it's not meant to be or even a good thing that you didn't get what you were hoping for? Maybe you can be a success just for trying? We'll discuss.

We know many of the famous stories of the people that "made it" but what happens to the people who didn't quite get there?

That's one of the focuses but we'll see where else it goes. Music, sports, it will be fun.

I'm not sure if I'll get a picture of her today and if I do, I'm not sure if she'll allow me to post it so we'll just go back almost 13 years to when we were able to take her home for the first time. Happy 13th Birthday to our hard working and beautiful daughter Grace Juliette. I hope this is your best year yet sweetheart. We are very proud of you and we love you.

We had a fun day yesterday at school. Of course there was the "normal" chaos that a school like this provides but it's a great group of teachers that really care about these kids. I'm excited to be working side by side with such good-hearted people.

As you may know, teachers spend a lot of their own money buying supplies for the classroom. I told my teaching partner that I would try and raise some money for the things we buy for the kids: treats, snacks, small rewards/gift certificates, Play-doh, etc

Hey kirk. All is well I just checked your house. Only some tree debris outside but that’s how all of sarasota is. One fence panel in the front down but very lucky and all is well. Still no power though
