"A message for the Polar Bear, Northgate Station, and Big Canoe Communities:
Jeep Fest 2025 is a GO this weekend! Thursday through Sunday, come on by for ice cream, coffee, and duckies! It’s an extra big year, because it’s time to bid a fond farewell to this version of Polar Bear Ice Cream. Sunday is our Last Day!
Back in early June of this year, Todd and Mike were looking to sell Polar Bear, and chose a North Georgia-based, family-owned coffee house company to carry the torch.
Myth & Legend Coffee House is very humbled to announce that we will be opening your very own Marble Hill location this Fall! We offer unforgettable, locally-roasted coffee as well as breakfast and lunch items, and delicious baked treats.
So what does this mean for Polar Bear? Well, Jeep Fest and Labor Day Weekend is our Grand Finale for ice cream.
As we’ve learned and heard from many of you the institution that Polar Bear has been for your families for over a decade, it’s important to us that you know we value this shop and its legacy in this community.
To that end, please stay tuned for details on what will happen to the ice cream…..! If you still want Northgate Station to host your favorite flavors, interact here to help us make the case for a so far Secret Solution that has presented itself!
In the meantime, come out to say goodbye to Summer and to Polar Bear, have three or five scoops, take a ducky for your Jeep, and love on the staff who has been AMAZING through this transition.
