A first paycheck. A huge milestone. ❤️

We’re so proud to see Ni’Yanna’s story featured by The Arc of Essex County!

Through their Jobs Club and a six-week job sampling program, Ni’Yanna found an opportunity at Grandma Emma’s Bake Shop that led to her very first job.

With her first paycheck, she bought a birthday gift for her mom. That detail touched my heart—the joy of earning your own money and being able to do something special for someone you love.

We’re grateful to The Arc of Essex County for this partnership and proud to have Ni’Yanna on our team. Everyone deserves the opportunity to learn, contribute, and succeed.

Please join us in celebrating Ni’Yanna! ❤️

Today, I received a call from a dear friend who had just gotten heartbreaking medical news about a loved one. It reminded me how quickly life can change—and how precious our time together truly is.

Nothing stays the same forever. The ordinary moments we sometimes rush through may be the very moments we someday wish we could experience again.

Be present. Make the call. Give the hug. Say “I love you.” Appreciate the people beside you and the joy in the simple things.

We can’t control everything tomorrow brings, but we can choose to meet today with love and gratitude. ❤️
