Renovations are done — heavy lifting complete, project a success. A few hiccups along the way, but we’re standing.
Please excuse the sign; it didn’t make it. And to the neighborhood kids: the yellow tape isn’t a suggestion. We already redid a section of cement after some tiny feet marched through the wet asphalt onto the brand-new concrete. FYI — Parents, check your carpets for black tar.Thanks for bearing with us.

Hey folks, just a heads-up — we’ll be closed Monday (8/31) and Tuesday (9/1) for the next phase of our renovations. We’ve been quietly upgrading the place for over a year, doing most of the work before and after hours so we didn’t have to interrupt your cheesesteaks and hoagies. But this next round is a little bigger and louder, so we’re hitting pause for two days to get it done right. Our building’s been standing since the 1950s, and we’ve been serving this community since 1983 — same award-winning food, same management, and the same culture we’ve been instilling in our staff since the 80s. We’re doing all this to make your experience even better — updated equipment and a place you can keep trusting. The look might shift a bit, but the quality and the friendly service sure won’t. Thanks for your patience — we’ll be back Wednesday, September 2nd, ready to “roll”. See you then!

It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later. Bittersweet as these young adults close a chapter of their lives that we were so proud to be a part of. All five of our seniors this year are heading off to college. We know each one will find their way and crush it, but they’ll be missed. We’d like to thank them for letting us be part of their lives over the past several years. They may no longer be employees, but they’ll always be family. Now go make your mark!

The Yellow Submarine Family got in some late night bowling at Laurel Lanes! Such a great night with a great staff. For over 40 years we continue to be blessed with amazing young adults and exceptional managers to mentor them. Wishing the best to our seniors as we welcome new faces!
