Protect Yourself from Becoming Infected:

cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces. Stay home when you are sick, except to receive medical care. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Prevent the Spread of Germs in Common Areas:

Routinely clean all frequently touched surfaces such as workstations, countertops, and doorknobs. Use the cleaning agents that are usually used in these areas and follow the directions on the label. Wipe down doorknobs and other common surfaces at least daily, twice a day or more if possible. Provide disposable wipes so that commonly used surfaces can be wiped down by members before each use. Provide soap and water and alcohol-based hand rubs in facility's and ensure that adequate supplies are maintained.
