Manteno & Kankakee County,
Next weekend is Oktoberfest in Manteno, marking our 3rd year getting to celebrate one of our favorite weekends with this community. Sadly, it will be our last with Uplifted operating as a café in Manteno.
After 6+ incredible years of Uplifted, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to close our Manteno café. Our final day will be 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟳𝘁𝗵.
Over the years, Uplifted has become so much more than a café to us. We've watched friendships & families grow, employees become family, regulars become friends, & Uplifted become part of people's routines.
We've celebrated birthdays, hosted events, taken our trailer all over, survived some difficult years, moved locations, & made more drinks & sandwiches than we ever imagined. Most importantly, we've had the opportunity to serve all of you.
With our Manteno lease coming to an end, along with some of our future business goals, we realized this was the right time to step back & close this chapter.
𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗨𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗱.
We still love what we've built & believe in what Uplifted can be. Our goal is to bring the café back when we find the right space, at the right time.
Until then, you'll still see Uplifted around.
Our sister company, Pocket Vault Cards & Collectibles, is preparing for its new Bradley space, where we're looking at offering a selection of your favorite Uplifted drinks & potentially food.
We're also planning bigger things for our Uplifted food trailer next year.
So while our Manteno café is closing, this isn't goodbye. It's simply the end of this chapter & the beginning of whatever comes next. ❤️

Monday: 9 AM–5 PM
Tuesday: 9 AM–3 PM
Wednesday: 9 AM–6 PM
Thursday: 9 AM–10 PM
Friday: 9 AM–11 PM
Saturday: 9 AM–11 PM
Sunday: 11 AM–6 PM or until sold out — 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘆 ❤️
