Celebrating 22 Years of Dedication. Happy Retirement, Amparo Ibarra! 🎉
After 22 incredible years of service since 2004, we proudly celebrate the retirement of Amparo Ibarra, a valued member of our nutrition services family.
Amparo began her journey at East Union, where she quickly made an impression.
As Nutrition Supervisor Annastacia Yager shared:
"Amparo started at East Union. I remember training Amparo. She was very quiet but a quick learner. Her and I worked on the inside lunch line… you had to be quick. Amparo jumped in like an expert right from the beginning."
"Amparo was our best wrap maker… and was also the expert mini breakfast box maker, sometimes making 200 each day. She always made enough of what she knew the students loved."
"I’ve had many great times and great memories with Amparo."
Amparo’s kindness and dedication left a lasting impact on those around her.
Raphael Laruta, SKO, shared:
"Ever since I met Amparro… she has been one of the kindest and most caring people… always showing so much care for every student. I congratulate her on a well-deserved retirement."
Natalie Rosas, MKO, added:
"Through those years I noticed a love for her job and a kindness to the students she served. What a sweet person. Wishing her many adventures in retirement."
At Manteca High School, Amparo continued to shine.
Nutrition Supervisor Paula Reynoso shared:
"She was an instant fit… she and Letty were my kitchen twin. Amparo’s compassion and dedication… never went unnoticed. She was amazing, my go-to trainer, and our students truly felt her absence when she was away."
"I’m grateful I had the privilege of working alongside her for seven wonderful years."
Thank you, Amparo, for 22 years of service, compassion, and care. You will be greatly missed. ❤️
